This trip was hard for us because we know that we won't be going 'home' for a year now. Because of paid vacation with the new job, life, and far away-ness we won't be seeing our siblings for a year. Parents, sure, but siblings...no. So, the moments of my brother's wedding were bittersweet.
My brother, a husband. Hard to believe.
Wife and husband. Oh to dream of the things that will hurt them, build them up, grow them into strong adults.
A family that used to be 4 that is now 6.
Two handsome men.
Family, so far away.
Moments to savor as I ponder the changing of life.
