Whether or not this is true, I urge you not to say the following to people:

"God will never give you more than you can handle."

Again, while this may be true, in any situation where one would say it, it means the person is dealing with a lot. In those moments, it does not feel nice to hear that God wants such things to happen or allows such things to happen. Therefore, this comment is not helpful. So please, be careful to not use that phrase.

As my lovely friend said to me via email yesterday, "My response is: I just wish God didn't trust me so much." I like that.
