These two quotes are haunting:
"Every time you pick up a piece of trash along the road, say to yourself, 'Holy, Holy, Holy is the house of God.'" - Edward Hays
"To wantonly destroy a living species is to silence forever a divine voice." - Thomas Berry in The Dream of the Earth
Say what you will, but I don't believe these quotes need explaining.
"..the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God...the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time." - Romans 8:21, 22
